Dementia

They came in Blue
They came in White
Knocked on my door
On a day without Light

"Come with us", "You Must"
Special our powers, Respect
"Off you go", to a 'Home'
Rest, you need, for rest of life

"What sin did I committ?"
"What soul did I hurt?"
Am I asking too-much,
My cat, my life, my little-nest

"Old, you are; Cold, you are"
"Worn-out box, brain of yours"
"Far your son, Cold your daughter"
"too busy, is your neighbour"

"Off I go", to a 'Home'
Now, I know, sin of mine
Loved, too-much, my little-nest
Lived, too-long, just to forget
